Sad Times...

Hello all...
I am writing for those of you who have not heard yet about Mr. John's Place (Restaurant) closing Thursday, October 30, 2008. We will be closed Friday, October 24. Reopen Saturday, October 25. Opened Wednesday, October 29. And Thursday, October 30, 2008 will be our last night opened. Moment of Silence, please....................................................................
Ok. I've dried my tears up now. It's so sad, but true.

My parents decided to open the restaurant on October 11, 2000. They have been open for 8 years now. And wow, has it been a wonderful, eventful, and blessful 8 years! I know at times, it seemed like to me & my parents, that we had been there 88 years!
We all three will agree that this was something that we will never regret doing because we have learned so much and have met so many amazing people. God has truly blessed my parents and they're dream having a restaurant. And I speak for them when I say, The Restaurant will be missed, along with everyone who graciously supported us for the past 8 years.
My parents have reached another stage in their lives and they are ready to move on again. And who knows, the economy "might" get better and the doors may open up again. Only God knows what will take place. They will still have the building under their ownership for future ideas....
In the meantime, my daddy will be processing Deer full time. So for all you hunters (both men & women), please contact my dad, John, at 662-251-4646 when you've made that big kill of the season!
Also, they will continue to host parties for in house dining at the restaurant. They already have about 4 or 5 Christmas parties booked. So give them a call for your next party or gathering! Call 662-328-1022 from now until October 31 and we will have a new number come November and that is 662-327-4535.

To all of our customers of Mr. John's Place: Thank you so much for your patronage and support over the past 8 years. It has been our pleasure being able to serve you in our friendly and family atmosphere. We will truly miss each and everyone of you. Who knows, one day we may meet or should I say "eat" again at Mr. John's Place!
Call Mr. John for all your Deer Processing needs!

Ok, so I guess its time I play catch up again for all you bloggers!

Matt & I are both staying busy right now with all of our activities throughout our lives! Matt has school, being a new husband, and Football! I have a new job, being a new wife, and learning to be a coach's wife! It is so much fun! Somedays though, I feel like the activities will never end or slow down. But I guess that's what happens when you get old! haha.

I love the weather right now. I hate being cold! I wish it was like this all year long! I have my house all decorated for Fall/October/Halloween. I love decorating! I have many childhood memories of growing up with our house always decorated for the next season coming up! Thank you mom for all those fun and memorable memories!

I can't believe Matt & I have been married now for 3 months and 5 days! Time flies by when your having fun! He is a wonderful husband and I blessed to have him as mine! I know God gives him all the paitience in the world to put up with me! I still haven't mastered this whole cooking thing yet.....but maybe one day it will hit me! Matt is so good about helping me when I am trying to cook or he will just cook something up himself for the two of us, or we just go eat at Mr. John's Place! (They are neighbor!)

Well, I hope I have caught you up to date a little bit. I promise more next time!

Oh, Macy is doing great as well. She is still SPOILED as can be! Macy calls Matt her "Daddy-Coach"! Its the cutest thing ever! And she just calls me Mommy! She's so sweet! We hope to have another child soon......it will be a Bassett Hound Child, for all of those who were thinking the other kind of child!

New Job!

Hey Bloggers,

I'm back! Trying to keep ya'll on track is hard work! To update you on a few things:

1. God has blessed me with a stable job! Matt & I were so thankful this came our way. I am the Account Executive for Business Machines Plus, located here in Columbus. I have many sales accounts throughout the Columbus area. We sell office, school, doctor, and church offices' supplies, equipment and furniture. We also do printing here at the office. We offer delivery to any location. We also have a technician on site. We sell just about everything you can think of, from Splenda sweetner packets to Church Pews! Contact me at bethkeith@cableone.net or 662-328-6011 for any questions or sales! I would love to help! We also have a website: http://www.bmpinc.biz/

2. God has also blessed me with a WONDERFUL & AMAZING HUSBAND! I could NOT make it without him by my side everyday of my life. He does so many things for me that sometimes I don't even realize and I apologize to him for that. He still spoils me like my parents did- but who's complaining! Our married life together is going as perfect as it can be- its amazing waking up next to the one who cares for you the most, besides my parents & God! We "share" most of the housework! But its only been ONE MONTH, so come ask me in about a year and see if we're still going at that rate! ha. JK!

There are many other things that God has blessed us with since July 12, 2008, but it would take me all day to type it all out! But to me those were two of the most important that are happening in my life right now. I'll write more later! Have a great week-end!

MARRIED!

Well, I'm finally posting for all of you people who have been begging me to post as a married woman now! Married life is awesome! It is so much fun to wake up next to person who loves you more than anything in the world and will do whatever for you. God has truly blessed me with a wonderful husband and I will never be able to thank him enough for blessing me with an honest, true loving man! We are finally getting the house in some kind of order after about 2 weeks now of putting everything away and trying to find a spot for it all and remembering where you put it! Matt has started back to school and I have found a job after many prayers! I'm really excited about this new opportunity that God has given to me. I will be selling office equipment, furniture, and supplies to various locations such as School Teachers, Principles, Secretaries, Church offices, Doctors' office and other place. This should be a learning experience and I love being around people. So please continue your prayers for the Keith family for the new job and for getting back into the groove of things with Matt at school and Football season! Its HOTT outside! I'll post pics of wedding/honeymoon later! Enjoy one of the MANY pics we took on our honeymoon!

My mother has stayed on me and everyone involved in this momentous occassion to get as much done as possible so that we can enjoy this last week together as a family!

Matt & I have been so blessed over the past year of our engagement! We have many family and friends we would love to say thank you to in so many ways! We could not have accomplished this event without the Love of God and our Family & Friends!

We look foward to seeing everyone at our special occassion on JULY 12, 2008, at FAIRVIEW BAPTIST CHURCH in COLUMBUS, MS, at 5:00 in the afternoon!
